May 14, 2013, Boone County Economic Development Corporation., Lebanon, Indiana
On behalf of the Boone EDC Board of Directors, I greatly appreciate The Farmers Bank's recent investment and your continued support of our efforts to provide the resources necessary to attract and grow business, create wealth and raise the standard of living of every citizen of Boone County.
The Boone EDC works to create a stronger tax base, a broad range of better paying jobs and new retail, residential, recreational, and cultural opportunities that flow from economic development. It publicizes Boone County's many assets and opportunities and educates current residents on the benefits resulting from quality economic development. We are a resource for prospective and existing Boone County businesses, developers, consultants, real estate brokers, public officials and the community at large. We would not be able to provide these vital services to the community without your very generous investment.
Again, thank you for your investment in the Boone EDC. We look forward to a strong partnership with you and will work diligently to keep you informed about our activities and accomplishments.
Sincerely,

February 08, 2013, Boy Scouts of America, Indianapolis, Indiana
On behalf of Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, please accept my sincere thanks for your generous financial gift to Scouting. Your contribution is important, essential and deeply appreciated in helping us to keep Scouting strong for our 36,500 members. Your contribution enables us to continue the character building, citizenship training and personal fitness programs of Scouting.
Although today's young people face many challenges, we can be proud of the many positive influences Scouting has on its members. Recent studies confirm what Scout members have know for years..."that members with strong Scouting backgrounds maintain higher ethical standards; attain higher educational levels; and show less anti-social behavior than do those with no Scouting background." During these challenging times and opportunities for so many negative influences, we are deeply grateful for your support in keeping the flame of Scouting burning brightly in the lives of central Indiana children.
Young people join Scouting for fun...camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, or racing in the pinewood derby. But Scouting helps shape the future of our youth. Scouting is fun with a purpose. It helps build confidence and we know that when a child feels good about himself he can make better decisions in life. Indeed, Scouting has stood the test of time and continues to change thus meeting the needs of today's families. Your support helps us teach traditional values, build moral character and change lives. Thank you for making a difference!
With deep appreciation,
Scott Clabaugh
Scout Executive

We included The Farmers Bank as Contributing Sponsor on the publicity and promotions for this concert. December 27, 2012, The Michael Treinen Foundation, Noblesville, Indiana
The Michael Treinen Foundation would like to thank you for your sponsorship for the 5th Annual Turkey Trot. Your contribution enabled us to run a successful event for the 900+ runners and walkers.
The Turkey Trot raises money for The Michael Treinen Foundation, in memory of Michael Treinen, our 19 year old son who lost his year-long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May 2008. The goal of the foundation is to assist patients and families battling cancer through personal assistance or supporting organizations that provide services. The foundation provides four $1,000.00 scholarships to Noblesville hockey, football, and boys and girls lacrosse senior athletes pursuing a post-high school education. The foundation continues to support Michael's dedication to fitness with providing exercise equipment for the patient's at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. The Be the Match Bone Marrow drives are a yearly focus, so that the National Bone Marrow Registry can continue to build its bank of donors. We have recently branched out as the sponsors of a local program called, The Sparrow Club, which supports medically fragile children with the help of students at Noblesville West Middle School and Promise Road Elementary. (We look forward to sharing the wonderful stories from this new program!) We also added a Be My Friend doll program for cancer patients at Riley. Through the leadership of Michael's sisters and the social workers at Riley-girls receive American Girl Dolls and outfits and are able to interact on a website designed especially for them! Our goal...to pay it forward in Michael's Memory!
We look forward as we are already planning for the 6th Annual Michael Treinen Foundation Turkey Trot to be held on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th, 2013. We hope we can count on your continued support as our event grows even larger - enabling us to support more patients and programs.
Thanks again for your generosity!

September 26, 2012, Frankfort Middle School, Frankfort, Indiana
Thank you for sponsoring the recent Open House events at Frankfort Middle School. This is the first year we invited parents by grade level into the school to meet the teachers. Your generosity enabled us to give parents and students a chance to talk informally with our staff and spend some time in the building with fewer distractions than in a traditional Open House. The general response from the participants has been positive and we hope to continue to strengthen the new relationships throughout the year.
The Parental Involvement Task Force, composed of FMS staff and parents, is working to develop new methods to bring parents into the Middle School so that we can work together to provide the best possible educational opportunities for the students of Frankfort. Support from the community serves as a reminder to the parents and the students that the education the students receive here benefits all of us, not just the individual students.
Again, your generosity and support help make that message clear and we look forward to showing you the benefits of your contributions in the future.
Sincerely,

Here in mid-north Indiana, there are thousands of kids who rely on free meal programs for what is sometimes their only meal of the day. These same children often face a week-end of little or no food. Lack of proper nutrition can lead to health problems in children, as well as negatively impact their academic performance and physical development.
Thanks to your gift, many of these boys and girls won't go hungry over the weekend. Through your support of the BackPack Program, you're helping Food Finders fill back packs with nutritious food for these children to take home on Friday. Your gifts are helping to ensure children in our community have a brighter future. You are making a big difference in our fight against hunger. Thank you.
