I hope this letter finds you well.  Thank you for hosting my Congress on Your Corner event at your business establishment on August 23.  I am always happy to meet with Hoosiers from Indiana's Fourth District.  It was great to listen to their concerns and what they feel we need to do to get America back on the road to prosperity.  I know we are living through some difficult times, but together and with some Hoosier common sense, we can get our country back on track.

I look forward to my next visit to Lebanon.

September 04, 2013, Relay for Life of Clinton County, Frankfort, Indiana
The American Cancer Society would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the many people from your company that have worked to support our lifesaving mission through their participation in the Relay For Life of Clinton County this year.  As the official sponsor of birthdays, the American Cancer Society knows just how important each and every birthday can be.  This year, the American Cancer Society is turning 100 years old.  During the last century, we've led the way in saving lives and creating more birthdays.  Much of this success is due to the dedication of our Relay For Life volunteers and participants across the nation.

This past June, 20 teams came together with 356 registered participants as a community at Frankfort Middle School with one common goal - to help us finish the fight against cancer and to celebrate the collective victory of 73 local cancer survivors.  The people of Clinton County remain dedicated to the cause and raised $41,000 to support the fight against cancer and we thank you so much for helping make that possible.

As the leading cancer-fighting organization in the country we are proud to partner with companies like yours to battle America's number one public health concern.  Your support helps the American Cancer Society fund its comprehensive approach to addressing the cancer burden.  Specifically, we fund approximately $150 million in promising cancer research each year and provide vital patient support programs which help local patients navigate their cancer journey.

Again, we genuinely appreciate your company's support of the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life, and all that you do in the community.  Thank you for helping us create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Best regards,
Renae Aeschliman
Community Representative

September 04, 2013, United Way of Central Indiana, Indianapolis, Indiana
On behalf of United Way of Central Indiana and the thousands of people in the communities we serve, thank you for your gift and for making a positive impact in Central Indiana.  The Farmers Bank's generosity allows us to continue our critical work - helping people learn more, earn more and lead safe and healthy lives.  Thanks to the collective compassion and resources of our community, we have been able to achieve many great outcomes.

Our vision for Central Indiana is bold, but with the support of all residents, I know we can create a solid foundation for success.  Through United Way's focus on four key areas - education, income stability, health and basic needs - we are improving lives and creating a safe, thriving community in which to live, work and play.  I am often reminded that, underneath everything we are, everything we do, we are all people - connected, independent, united.  Together, we are doing more than helping one person beat the odds - we are improving the odds for entire communities.  Thank you, The Farmers Bank, for giving today, so we can change tomorrow.

Warm regards,
Ann D. Murtlow

September 04, 2013, Angel of Hope Memorial Inc., Noblesville, Indiana
It has truly been an incredible first few months from getting approval for constructing the Angel of Hope Memorial Garden in Forest Park to starting our fundraising.  Through our own experiences we share a vision of a quiet and healing place for reflection; where all parents and families who have experienced the loss of a child can go and remember their children and where these children, who are absent from our lives and our community, can be remembered for many years to come.  It is our hope as members of the community that Angel of Hope Memorial Garden fulfills an important need in Noblesville.  It will serve as a beacon for all regardless of religious background who are trying to cope with the emotional and physical absence of their child.

Your donation is very important in building our Angel of Hope Memorial Garden.  This has been a wonderful and blessed year for this project and you helped make it possible.  Again, many thanks for what you did for our Angel of Hope Memorial Garden.

Sincerely,
Brenda Forbes, Administrator

September 04, 2013, Boy Scouts of America, Indianapolis, Indiana
A summer thank you... several times a year I have the privilege of providing an update on Scouting.  Your personal and financial support has truly made a difference in the lives of thousands of young people. This past summer, has been very busy with the National Jamboree and summer camp being a "big hit" for thousands of Scouts.

2013 has truly been an exciting year.  Rest assured that Scouts in Indiana are getting quality programs, proper guidance, and solid mentoring from adult leaders.  Mentoring at summer camp is an ideal setting that enables Scouts to learn new skills, grow and experience leadership roles and practice environmental stewardship.  We are in an era of youth seeking guidance and peer group acceptance.  Scouting addresses these needs and provides positive role models and quality programs...Scouts learning how to make decisions that will eventually shape not only their personal lives but our community and nation.  Scouting is helping to formulate right choices and positive values.

On behalf of my fellow Scout leaders and youth members, I extend a heartfelt "thank you" for the resources you provide that help us touch so many lives.

Most sincerely,
Gordon Przybylski

Our goal is to guide them toward making wise, healthy choices, and to direct them toward productive, fulfilling adulthood. None of this would be possible without the continuing support of benefactors like you, donors who understand the importance of mentoring the youth of our community as they mature.

Thank you again for caring and giving to such an important cause.

Please accept our sincerest thanks for your contribution to Montgomery Aviation's "Celebration of Flight", our Annual Charity Fundraiser and Open House.  You helped to make the event a rousing success.  Good food, good friends, and the silent auction combined to make the day both fun and worthwhile, for the sponsors and the many community residents who attended.

This year's Clinton County school recipient, Frankfort Community School Corporation and Down Syndrome Indiana will each receive donations from the approximately $3000 generated from this year's Celebration.  Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the only cash expenditure from the revenue was the cost of the pork chops. Your donation and your participation were instrumental in this year's successful presentation of a community event people look forward to each year.  We look forward to your continued affiliation with "Celebration of Flight" and again, we thank you.

June 27, 2013, Boy Scouts of America, Indianapolis, Indiana
On behalf of Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, please accept my sincere thanks for your generous financial commitment to Scouting.  Your support is important, essential and deeply appreciated in helping us to keep Scouting strong for our 36,500 members.  Your contribution enables us to continue the character building, citizenship training and personal fitness programs of Scouting.

Although today's young people face many challenges, we can be proud of the many positive influences Scouting has on its members.  Recent studies confirm what Scout members have know for years..."that members with strong Scouting backgrounds maintain higher ethical standards; attain higher educational levels; and show less anti-social behavior than do those with no Scouting background."  During these challenging times and opportunities for so many negative influences, we are deeply grateful for your support in keeping the flame of Scouting burning brightly in the lives of central Indiana children.

Young people join Scouting for fun...camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, or racing in the pinewood derby.  But Scouting helps shape the future of our youth.  Scouting is fun with a purpose.  It helps build confidence and we know that when a child feels good about himself he can make better decisions in life.  Indeed, Scouting has stood the test of time and continues to change thus meeting the needs of today's families.  Your support helps us teach traditional values, build moral character and change lives.  Thank you for making a difference!

With deep appreciation,
Patrick Sterrett
Scout Executive

May 31, 2013, City of Carmel, Carmel, Indiana
Thank you for your sponsorship of the Eighth Annual Carmel Mayor's Breakfast for Scouting.  Our community has a long tradition of supporting local youth, and as you know, I am a big supporter of Scouting.  I greatly appreciate your willingness to support the Boy Scouts alongside me.  In case you did not already hear, we were able to raise funds for the local Boy Scouts in the Del-Mi District, setting a new record for funds raised.

Because of your generous support local funding will be used in several different ways.  It can be used to assist units to lower the individual costs of day camps and summer camps, programming needs for our organization, provide assistance programs for low-income families to participate in Scouting, to keep Scouting affordable to all families, and to send individuals who cannot financially afford to go to summer camp the opportunity.  Our goal is to involve every eligible child and family in the fun and adventure of Scouting.  We will provide extraordinary youth development programs that strengthen values, develop leadership skills, provide lifelong learning and instill the habit of service to others.

Again, I want to thank you for your support.  I hope to see you at the Ninth Annual Breakfast next year on April 24, 2014.

Very truly yours,

On behalf of the Boone EDC Board of Directors, I greatly appreciate The Farmers Bank's recent investment and your continued support of our efforts to provide the resources necessary to attract and grow business, create wealth and raise the standard of living of every citizen of Boone County.

February 08, 2013, Boy Scouts of America, Indianapolis, Indiana
On behalf of Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, please accept my sincere thanks for your generous financial gift to Scouting.  Your contribution is important, essential and deeply appreciated in helping us to keep Scouting strong for our 36,500 members.

With deep appreciation,
Scott Clabaugh
Scout Executive

December 27, 2012, The Michael Treinen Foundation, Noblesville, Indiana
The Michael Treinen Foundation would like to thank you for your sponsorship for the 5th Annual Turkey Trot.  Your contribution enabled us to run a successful event for the 900+ runners and walkers.

The Turkey Trot raises money for The Michael Treinen Foundation, in memory of Michael Treinen, our 19 year old son who lost his year-long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in May 2008.  The goal of the foundation is to assist patients and families battling cancer through personal assistance or supporting organizations that provide services.  The foundation provides four $1,000.00 scholarships to Noblesville hockey, football, and boys and girls lacrosse senior athletes pursuing a post-high school education.  The foundation continues to support Michael's dedication to fitness with providing exercise equipment for the patient's at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.  The Be the Match Bone Marrow drives are a yearly focus, so that the National Bone Marrow Registry can continue to build its bank of donors.  We have recently branched out as the sponsors of a local program called, The Sparrow Club, which supports medically fragile children with the help of students at Noblesville West Middle School and Promise Road Elementary.  (We look forward to sharing the wonderful stories from this new program!) We also added a Be My Friend doll program for cancer patients at Riley.  Through the leadership of Michael's sisters and the social workers at Riley-girls receive American Girl Dolls and outfits and are able to interact on a website designed especially for them!  Our goal...to pay it forward in Michael's Memory!

We look forward as we are already planning for the 6th Annual Michael Treinen Foundation Turkey Trot to be held on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th, 2013.  We hope we can count on your continued support as our event grows even larger - enabling us to support more patients and programs.

Thanks again for your generosity!
